According to the LCG/EGEE Virtual Organisation Registration Procedure, a Regional VO is:
"A VO accepted by more than one RCs within a single federation. Those VOs may wish to properly register in view of further expansion.".
GridPP has created four Regional VOs for new users to join in order to get a taste for grid technology before creating or joining a community-specific VO. These are:
